Robyn Gosby’s One Four Challenge- week 3
Count down has begun. I am gearing up for my big trip in August so postings may be a bit sporadic (not unusual for me!)
I’m so excited to be going back again to the land of fairies, standing stones, pipers, misty mountains, emerald glens – and good craic. Time is flying by and so much yet to do!!
“Just living is not enough,” said the butterfly, “one must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower.”- Hans Christian Andersen –
and from Paul Anderson- The beautiful- Land of the Standing Stones
I used two layers and a brush to achieve a magical dust effect and I cropped the photo and desaturated it but left a touch of colour in a light leak. It’s not quite a monochrome!

It is hard to believe this is the same image as from the original. You sure have a magical vision Cybele. Lovely edit and that hint of color just makes the image dance. Safe travels, can’t wait to see your images…what a visual playground you are about to embark on! Exciting.

How enchanting this week’s version is! I like the faded, vintage feeling and love the fairy dust!
How exciting to be heading to Scotland! It’s on my Bucket List. I too am preparing for a trip in Aug. but I’m going the opposite direction. I’ve been packing in my head for a month already, and need to trim my clothes down by half, am taking 3 pair of shoes, and my gear bag will be full!
I haven’t started to think about getting the house ready for our absence. 🙂 I hope the remodel is finished by then! It’s planned finish date has slipped a bit.
