The Daily post challenge – Blur

I chose soft blurs some of which were already in my collection. Though I entered this challenge a bit late I love dreamy images and I think the blurs help!

“All that we see is a dream within a dream”
The swan
it was the magic that he had forsaken. It was her own vision!  She didn’t know how he had come by it, nor what there was yet be revealed.  She would need to retrieve this last and most powerful dream

the swan is an image from my previous post  (Tales of the Tuatha)

  3. I am usually weary of blurred photos, for some reason (might be the fact that I’m slightly *cough* short-sighted!). However, you have managed to use that effect in a very effective way! Good job!

  25. Very interesting post, Cybele. How ironic that tack-sharp images are constantly lauded as the industry standard for photography when a little creative bokeh is what many people react positively to. Yes, there usually needs to be a sweet spot of focus to serve as a visual anchor; but that dreamy quality blur gives can truly transport the viewer. And it can even help draw attention to your subject in a way similar to vignetting.
