Thank you Robyn Gosby at Captivate me for the challenge and the wonder!!
We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time. T.S Elliot
– the fairy queen
This is the fourth and last process of my poppies at Craigflower farm photo
Some of you know that I love storytelling and am a great believer in fairies and enchanted woodland beings. As a gardener I’ve always said that a garden is incomplete without an overgrown area (preferably by the postern gate) so the wild spirits will come and play. Here, the poppy garden has been no exception. Each time I entered it I found myself in a new adventure (week 3 being the wildest!), and always at the whim of the untamed hearts that dwell there.
Hi Cybele… The fourth version is my favorite… I have already voted for it!…
Great photograph and I also like T.S Elliot’s quote above!.
All the best to you, always. Aquileana 😀
Well, it looks like most people- including myself- love an overcast sky. It does add such a mood to this piece. For me it’s a very dramatic scene, now. Like the sun just poked through a break in the clouds and soon it will start to rain! Love it!
Really hard to decide between Week 1 and 3 … Every image has been so different, reflecting on varying moods and thoughts for the week. And now I have just noticed the clouds in Week 4, which makes it even harder to choose! Ok Week 3 it is – out with the fairies and stars! 🙂
I loved last week, for it blew me away. I think there was a beautiful energy to your whole post last week, you offered so much to your viewers. For my personal taste, this weeks image is my favorite. I love that there is just enough light and yet still some dramatic mystery to it.
I also appreciate your belief in fairies and garden creatures, I love that you give them a space to live and play, what a true gardener you are!
Last week’s was a lot of fun for me because I enjoy writing a story!! And I loved the “far out” ness!! Thanks so much for your wonderful comments and your vote!!
I really like the movement of your image through your various processes – the differences are like a visual diary reflecting on different moods at different times.
A beautiful gallery anda wonderful quote!!
I love all that you have said here.
Perfect – from one garden dweller to another 😀
Number 4 is gorgeous Cybele!!
The music is so relaxing! Please don’t make me choose. I do love each one for different reasons. 🙂
